God is really at work in people’s lives big-time at NewPointe right now. If you were unable to make it to First Wednesday last night, let me give you a quick update:
We had a tremendous time of worship and prayer. Our prayer team was able to pray for/with dozens and dozens of people as they came forward at the end to receive healing, to pray for hurts, to deal with sin issues…it was an incredible time. And that's not all: At least 20 people raised their hands saying, “I’m ready to receive Christ. I want to make him the leader of my life and the forgiver of my sins.” How cool is that? More than 20 people are now members of the family of God because they were courageous enough to raise their hands and pray the sinner’s prayer last night.
Hope you got to be in on that. It was a night I won't soon forget.

I love first Wednesdays!! I could have stayed there and sang and worshipped for at least another hour. It's my favorite. I wish we could have a third wednesday service also. Or something to that effect.
Awesome, stuff. That's what it's all about. People asking Jesus into their lives. Sometimes I lose sight of the fact that that's why we are here on this earth. To lead people to Jesus. Thanks for reminding me!
This was my FIRST First Wed and I must say I cried a river. What a "BIG GOD" service!!! The music was awesome and so moving would love to know some of the names and artists that Danny and the group sang. Sermon was unbelieveable like always and you could FEEL GOD in the room. Prayer team warrior Lisa was a huge blessing to me in my prayer request. Food was great before service it was so wonderul to take communion in such a moving service.
bev, I love 1st Wednesdays, too. I know God spoke to a lot of people last night.
robin, so glad you could make it to 1st Wed. I'll see if Danny can post the songs and artists on his blog some time within the next few days. Isn't it cool to FEEL the presence of God?
First Wednesdays are my favorite. I love all the services I've been to, but First Wednesdays just always speak to me in a way that tops Sunday mornings. It's always such an emotional intimate time for me. God always feels so close at First Wednesday. But last night topped them all. It was so powerful, if I wouldn't have needed to get home I would have stayed until the music stopped and we HAD to go home. God is so good, and so powerful, and it was time that I gave it ALL to him. Not just most of my life. He now has the whole thing, and I must say that it feels SO good!
Thank God for His forgiveness and His miraculous healing!!!!!!!!!
You know how I feel about first Wednesday ~ awesome, personal, a chat with God in my livingroom environment! Things were going good this time, I thought I was going to actually get through it without tears. BUT... you had to ask that last question, which by the way I already knew the answer to and am wondering how the heck you knew to back up God by asking it!! Totally fell in line with the commitment that I made during my baptism. Darn it. You guys make living a Godly life hard because you all actually EXPECT/CHALLENGE us to do it :0)
robin, check Danny's blog (www.dannybunnelle.com). He's posted the First Wednesday set list.
jane ann, Ha!
